I can never get enough of these types of videos of aquatic creatures in there natural habitat.

No, not a Brazilian hystrix (Wallacei).

Not yet but they are afraid they might early last year most rays got put on CITES II I think it was. Now they need additional permits. I haven't seen new wild caught motoros since, its all the Asian bred hybrid motoros.

Although its not supposed to be impossible to get the permits. I don't think any of the big wholesalers have yet.

Edit: it was CITES appendix III which I think is just to get numbers to find out how many rays are being exported to see if they need more protection.
