Most trees are cut from a farm that grows trees just for Christmas. If your growing a tree for the sole purpose of being chopped down around Christmas, how are you ruining the environment. They would have never been there to begin with. Going out just randomly chopping a tree down in the wild is different.

I posted this earlier FYI too.

Real trees! The point of Christmas is the feeling the season brings and the smell of the tree is unmistakable to this time of year. Haha if we are concerned of saving trees use rocks to wipe! To each is own Merry Christmas guys!

It's a tree, idc. These trees were planted so they can be cut down for people who want Christmas trees. Back then cutting down a random tree in the forst might seem selfish, but now a days there's farms who soley grow trees for Christmas. I love my Christmas feeling.

like i said, selfish

Haha, what? I'm sorry, I'm not seeing your logic here. There are farms specifically set up to grow Christmas trees, and that is their only purpose. You're saying it's selfish to buy a tree from one of those businesses when the tree has no other purpose? So, would it be selfish to plant flowers in my backyard that I'm planning on using as decoration after they're done growing? You keep fish, right? We grow the fish to enjoy for our own entertainment. Sounds like the same principle to me.

REAL.

Fake trees are butt ugly and look way too fake. I've yet to see an artifical tree that I wouldn't mind buying. Not to mention they are very expensive. The cost of an artifical tree compared to buying one every year does not come out cheaper IMO since they look uglier everytime you pull them out of the box, meaning short useful lives.
