Thanks. Do you have any species that you reccomend? I am looking for a fish that gets at least a foot and is atleast semi-aggressive.

Red Devils, Oscars, Jaquars, clown knife... dovii, Black Belts... to name a few.. now it depends on what you like... :D

Clown knives - are they easy?
 
i love my clown knife.. they just need a big tank eventually..do not grow fast like pacu ... mine is almost two years old and is about 15-16 inches...heres his pic.. the only thing is i have not heard of them breeding in captivity.. they just are beautiful and elegant and you can add fish to give them tank mates..but if your into breeding...maybe africans ...venustus... they get about 11 inches... and they are beauties.. here is my male n.venustus.
 
I will keep track of it, but it won't be in the near future.
