well i figure it this way people may flame me for this but i wear asbestos underpants so here goes

if a male an female of differing species are kept in the same tank and they make babies i figure let the babies live and to hell with the whole species purity thing cause if the babies were not suppose to be they would not have intermixed

i would love to see pics of the fry when they grow up should look very nice

think how crappy our world would be if inter racial marriages were banned and interracial kids were culled

or worse yet if the parents of the interracial kids ate them

I don't oppose hybrids- I just wanted to point out the flaw in your analogy. Interracial kids are from parents of the same species. These guys are not. A better analogy for the interracial kids would be parents of the same species but different types having babies, like a pink con x barred con or a koi x common carp.

Jackass are donkey...and a female horse x male jackass/donkey are mule and male horse x female jackass/donkey are hinny.

Some of mules/hinnies are fertile (females only)

I doubt that devil x convict hybrids are sterile.

Someone actually had a RD breed with a Tex x Convict on Cichlid Madness a few years ago. Some of the offspring were basically SRTs. They were awsome.

NOTE this is not a joke. The offspring that I mention were real.

Interracial parents are the same species. They're more like different dog breeds having offspring, same species different breeds.

Also, people will not eat their kids/babies/offspring, but fish will.

I agree mostly with what you're saying about hybrids except flowerhorns, plain ugly most of the time.

Reason there are so many ugly flowerhorns is because irresponsible breeders sell them. Ugly flowerhorns should be culled IDC what anyone thinks.
