That mix sounds f-ing awesome i dont want pics i want the fish for myself lol, but pics would be nice too and by the way you can tell if the red devil is a male or not by the length of his lower and dorsal fin (if he is the dominant male in the tank), it will have really long ends on his fins they should extend to the end of it's tail fin, sometimes a little farther i will try to post a pic of my male.

Reason there are so many ugly flowerhorns is because irresponsible breeders sell them. Ugly flowerhorns should be culled IDC what anyone thinks.

Most if not all flowerhorns are horrible with that ugly, pointless, DISGUSTING lump or 'kok' that people seem to want..Its just horrible.

ok thanks for the correction but still i think if they intermingle then so be it

so is that kinda like a horse and a donkey making a jack ass and thats why jackasses are sterile are most interspecies fry sterile

I have seen red devil and Mayan cichlid spawn here in the wild . Well, I shouldnt say saw them spawn as only saw them guard the nest area (wooden box by lake shore).

I can tell it was a pair as all the area cichlids were spawning and guarding sites but this was a wild devil/mayan pair that picked each other .

I havent been there in awhile so dont know the outcome. Maybe one day I will possibly see hybrids .

Great looking fish . To big and mean for me but find them "smart" fish and great looking.
