A) she still drowned. He might have been part of a pack, doesnt change the fact that she died and he was apart of it

B) still dead. he shouldnt have been there but the whale still killed him

C) still dead....

Yes,,,but if the trainer had not fallen in he would not of killed her
if the bumb had not gotten in he would of of killed him
if the trainer was not in the water he would of not killed him

He is a WILD animal.
They are the wolfs of the sea...hunters what do people expect?
does not mater how long they have been around humans
It is not the Whales fault, its merely acting on instincts. The are dead. but what do you expect when safety protocol does not happen.

it would be like blaming snake for striking its handler.

follow safety rules and i see no reason this whale could not be used in shows.

Or lock it away,,,,,or hell just kill !!

you cant see why this whale shouldnt be in shows?? how many other whales in shows have a 3 person body count??

how many other trainers have fallen in with thier whales and not gotten killed?
how many others have been in the water with thier whale and not gotten killed?

granted the other is abnormal but still, similar things have prob happened to other whales without them killing the person.

11 million years of evolution, apex predator of the oceans at the absolute top of the food chain and it's killed 3 people. Im surprised it hasn't killed more to be quite honest with you......

It's not whales fault for being what it is, but Seaworld is pretty stupid to use this particular whale in live shows. I live in Orlando and have seen this whale in person but I can't blame the whale for..... well, being a killer whale. Beautiful animal but you can't expect wild animals to conform to human expectations of what we view as controlled entertainment.

Seaworld should rethink their actions. Animal is just doing what it's born to do.

This, as well as what Ash and Zoodiver have said.

I agree with he shouldnt be in shows and again I think a baypin at the very least is where he needs to be - more space, no people, no shows.(not killed).

As for other whales not killing trainers and or attacking them in an attempt to, oh they have there are lots of reports of it. It happens during shows, during training you just dont always hear about it on the big news or whatever you can find plenty of reports on google and youtube had videos of an attack, one the guy lived, the other I believe died both happened at Seaworld in Cali, not sure if they have been pulled. Either ways it's still not the whales fault and its still human stupidity, its not like the whale is trained or can understand "dont kill human", its instinct is hunt and kill, they are top predators of the ocean. Its not some domesticated animal like a dog. Many of them are wild caught animals. Sorry in advanced if I took your post the wrong way - its the interwebs.

I believe that some beautiful things weren't meant to be kept. The orca was just being an orca. What a beautiful, amazing creature!!!

I think the 2nd death isn't the whale's fault.

For all we know, the homeless dude could be trying to make the whale's stomach his new home and got in voluntarily

Pretty much yes. Are you suggesting that the human animal is somehow more important?

I'm definitely saying that. 100%
