Wow, this really pisses me off for a few reasons, first of all, lets say that you are the hero of your town and catch someone selling illegal piranhas, do you think that the FBI is gonna fly them back to the lake that they came from so they can live happily and thrive, or do you think that they will simply be killed? There is a higher chance of the piranhas living a good life if somebody buys them, even if they are incompetent, secondly why is this your problem? Keeping illegal fish is really not a big deal, releasing snakheads into a lake where they can thrive and reproduce is a differnt story but this really doesnt matter, if you wanna help doante to charity or something, dont do this.

O sure nothing matters... the fish are banned for a reason. They can survive in flordia and have an impact on the wildlife of that range, and consequently they are band. Honestly I'm glad because 90% of fishkeepers in the hobby arn't as knowledgeable like most people on this site are.

And you reverse...Oman! a real BA keeping Restricted fish as a officer of the law. What kind of an example are you setting for that community?
Keep your negativity inside your head, nobody needs to hear that. Expecially because some people that care for preserving the natives over having a chance of more piranaha in the waterways.

Do the right thing and let the DA handle it.

I have to say this just don't sit right with me... I personally know many many people who keep Asia Aro's in the US.. And i just can't see the point? We all want to keep these fish as (Monster Fish Keepers) correct? I just think there is much more important thing's to worrie and spend tax dollars... Maybe the (hungry)? I just can't see a true hobbyist trunning in one of our own? jmo

An inexperienced hobbyist will not spend 400$ on a fish....Even if they did-nobody dumps 400$ into a river.
Florida has many invasive species and many are able to survive year round there-I see why you want to take action, but honestly, I don't think it will make much a difference.

I understand why you want to do this and feel a responsibility to do it, I just dont feel like it is needed, look at his water, it is very clean, his tank is in great condition, he clearly knows more then we are giving this guy credit for, he looks to have filters big enough for the tank, and I am sure he will not sell it to some random teenager lookg for a thrill, why doesnt someone just email him and ask him about this?

If they aren't being released, does it matter? If a petshop were to sell them, maybe more problems would occur. (where many inexperienced hobbyists would purchase them)

Well to each there own.. Nothing will ever come of it regardless.. Ya'll can't tell me you think 4 little fish will make a difference? Honestly people we were born on a day just not yesterday.. If you find somebody inporting thousand's of P's then maybe it would be more worth your time.. I just love how most people love to cast the first stone. I know ya'll don't break any law's correct? No speeding allway's fasten them seat belt's? Right? If your not perfect why should you try to stick it to somebody you don't even know? Just move on, There is much more important thing's going on.
