thanks for the help guys. the way he's growing i guess ill only have him for a little bit, a fish as big as gator gars get need a big pond to swim in. in the future i was thinking about getting needlefish aka needlenose gar, which i hear get much smaller and would be more appropriate for my size tanks, could probably get a few of em. do any of you know anything about needlefish or maybe another gar/pike type species that would be better suited for a 55gal or a 100gal tank?
