i wouldn't keep goldfish with arowana, their temperature preferences are so different one of them species will be unhappy and much more susecptible to disease. aro like 78-82 degrees and goldfish like under 70.

To me it seems to be a little fin root , just up the Temp a little and keep on your water changes
and add a little aqua' salt if you want too .

Also if you dont know already them Goldfish are going to be eaten by your Silver Awo' very soon .

50gal tank is deffently too small for one and really too small for 2 . Also 2 Silver Awo' in one tank will probily end up in fighting and a death of one of them .

if it a fin rot will my aro fin will go back to its original or permanent? from now on i will water change twice a week is this ok?

remember to get a bigger tank soon.

your 50 gallon will be fine for a few months. Once your aro reaches past the 8" mark you'll have to consider upgrading or getting rid of it. All i would be worried about is feeding the arowana and making sure he's eating correctly and i would do water changes frequently depending on how much food is being eaten. If eating correctly you should be doing large water changes once a week at the latest. I would check the water params frequently. Also, keep in mind that full grown silver arowana's get over 2 to 3 feet long. If you really love arowana's I would suggest you getting a black (blue) arowana or a Jardini Arowana. They still get big but not as big as the silvers. you'll need a 180 gallon for a full grown black or jardini. A much bigger tank for the Silver Arowanas.

100 wont do for any type of aro. For a silver you'll need atleast 300 gallons. I dont really know anything about blacks, but jars will be fine in a 180. Look at classified ads, you might find some good stuff in there.

anyone out there pls have a last look at my aro and confirm if it is a fin rot? sorry just wanna make sure.. and i noticed that one of my aro swim on top and the other at the middle... is this normal?
