And in China, we have Taobao or 360buy! Online shopping where you can choose and go find the lowest deals. Lots of competing stores so lower price is likely unless it is NOT MADE IN CHINA which is very rare. I just go to a coworker who knows how to determine crooks and I'm good to go. Online here is always cheaper except for a factory outlet which is 2hrs away from me.

Countryboy does make a good point about the stores needing more support but its just hard when the deals online are better.

It wont let me reply to your post above this one but my lfs sells fx5 for 250$ with media brand new. Just thought I should mention it. Oh and I'm not trying to argue. Just thought id throw that out their. Some lfs have unbeatable pricing. My lfs that sells them for 250 once had a sale and I got a fx5 for 190$ brand new. Their sales are about once every 25th anniversary though, extremely uncommon. The 190$ price is without media.
