So my mangroves have started sprouting leaves which I suppose is a good sign for the health of my fuge. There is also a bunch of zooplankton crawling on the glass in the fuge which I am stoked about. The gracilaria has a bunch of new sprouts growing upwards towards the light, but like I mentioned before there are some kind of worms living in the sand that are eating it. Is it normal to have worms in the sand in a fuge or are they something I should investigate and possibly remove??
Also, I am keeping my calcium, alk, and ph levels all in range and my corals seem to be doing well. I still haven't started testing for magnesium or any other important trace elements yet but I'll start as soon as I get the test kits. I am seeing new coraline algae growth on the glass.
All I'm putting in the tank as far as food for the corals is a couple drops of phytopheast a day. Is there something else I should be adding to feed the corals? I've heard of target feeding, should I try that? Which corals and how?
Here is the list of corals I have in the tank so far:
Ricordia Mushroom
Purple Tip Hammer
Green Tip Frogspawn
Candycane
GSP
Red Leather
Pink Pulsing Xenia
Green/Purple Mushroom
Watermelon Zoas
Purple Zoas
Orange Zoas
Orange Montipora
Ly Seng Green Purple-rimmed Montipora
There is also a coral that I don't know the name of. I attached a pic below (last pic), can someone identify it?
