You still have the damsels in there? are you going to be taking them out or leaving them?

Yeah, just one though. I will definitely be taking him out using the 2 liter bottle method....I just haven't done it yet. I'll post pics when I do.

Yup, I really like the color on them too. If they don't reproduce quickly I might end up going back and getting a bigger frag.

You know the two palys don't seem to be unfurling all the way like they were in the tank I got them from. Do they prefer low flow??

they should grow fast!

my flame angel doesnt "nip" i've had him for a couple weeks now, he only goes for algae on glass and rocks and brine that i feed him...

Flame Angels are so cool looking that I'm tempted to take the risk. It seems to say on most sites that they are reef safe with caution. Mytee, have you ever tried to keep one of these in a reef tank and had them nip at corals?

Also, any reason I wouldn't be able to get a foxface rabbitfish? I know they get kinda big but would one be ok in my 55?

I attached a better pic of the blue anthelias cuz the last one was out of focus. They look kinda purple in the pics but in reality they are bright blue.

I'm looking for really colorful and interesting reefsafe fish that won't get too big in my tank. Anybody have any suggestions?

I like the idea of a goby with a pistol shrimp, seems like a cool pair. Do orange spotted gobys pair up with pistol shrimp? What is the most colorful kind of goby that will form a symbiotic relationship with pistol shrimp?

Mystery wrasse look really cool but there is a hefty price tag on them. Also it says they sometimes eat shrimp. Would it be risky getting a mystery wrasse and having the pistol shrimp in the same tank?

Also, I really like the powder blue tangs. Would one of those work in my tank? How about a coral beauty? Foxface rabbitfish?

i have the yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp, as far as i can tell they have two seperate caves/dens... but that doesnt mean they wont in the future.. as far as the most colorful that will pair with a pistol, my yellow watchman is all yellow with almost neon blue dots, hes sweet looking..

That sux about your butterfly eating the zoos. Are you still going to keep him?

Well I guess I still have a lot more thinking to do about how I am going to stock the tank. Wrasses seem pretty colorful. I would like a tang but I'm having trouble finding one that I like that won't get too big for the tank. Unless somebody convinces me otherwise I'm probably going to try a flame angel. I could always remove it if it starts to bother my corals. Anyways, if anybody has any more suggestions please post em.
