  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Started out with a 29g and I thought my 29g was unsatisfying so I got myself a 55g. Now it looks TOO SMALL..Haha, I'm trying to decide if I should sell both of my 55's and get me a 150 or bigger.

I would definately get rid of the two 55s and get bigger.

I stared out with 10 gallon about 7 years ago. I just now got myself 240 gallon and now... I realize, I need much much bigger tank. Will it ever stop? Nope. You start off small... (regardless of size you pick) youre gonna want get a bigger one.

for years when I lived with my parents the largest tank they would let me have was a 90 gallon.

and I made due. I had 8 tanks, but none bigger than 90.

the first thing I did when I moved out was buy the biggest tank I could afford brand new and fit in the small room that I have my tanks.

it is a 150 gallon (72x18x29 tall) and I am happy with it.

I wish it was a 220 (6 inches wider) but at the time I did not have an extra $600 dollars to get it nor can I take up more floor space in the room. 6 inches doesn't sound like much but when the front edge of the tank already sits 2 feet out from the wall, its a lot when the adjacent wall is only 6 feet.

I need room to sit in front of it :)

so I am happy with my big tank.

had I the space to go with the 220 I would have, and I would have waited to save the extra cash. but space restrains really limited me.

so I am very happy with my 150, which makes my old 90 look small.

Currently my biggest tank is a 180. I am in the process of buying a large tank and have decided to spend the extra money just to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I really don't want to think "I wish I would've gotten the 6" taller tank" everytime I look at my new tank.

tbh i will never be happy till my house is like a sea life centre! just huge rooms that r tanks and il happily live on a lilo

i have a 55 reef but i want a 120 reef but if your into saltwater the process is definitely slowed a ton by the price of salt and coral and such

I got a 150 not to long ago. Then I thought if I only had a 240, then I thought what about a 300 and so on...:nilly:
