That's my cb. QT'd it too! Both polys were spotless on introduction, the importer QT'd them stringently

Will check @ home

There's a difference?

The knives are completely fine. The polypterus have these worms on their heads and the cb has them all over. They also have pale patches on their body today that weren't too noticeable until yesterday but I thought nothing of it. The CB has MANY more worms

What's the general course of treatment? Upped temp and some form of parasite treatment? I have Kanaplex but it's internal medication afaik. I hope I can afford what I need :(

There's is a difference.

Treat it with jungle parasite guard. Not sure if you can get it. That'll work.

How big?

Shot my LFS owner a message and posted on a local forum. What should I br looking for in the meds?

Anchor worm is a crustacean and bichir worms are a type of trematode, fluke and flatworm.

Look for parasite gaurd and prazipro should get rid of it.

You'll be ok. Bichir worms is fairly simple to get rid of. Any meds containing praziquantel and Metonidazole is sufficient. Even at 50% dose I believe. Perhaps, others here can chime in in dose amount. Cost of parasite guard is the price of a pack of cigarettes ($4-5 usd). Also, salt and high temp is not gonna help. Just add additional aeration when putting in meds.
