Yes she was a teacher and the reason as to why he went there. What I'm understanding from the news is that he killed or kidnapped his father in Hoboken then came to CT and killed another person in a separate home in newtown then he went to the school and killed his mother, faculty, and students .

doomsday crap has nothing to do with this stuff. The killers are plain psycho.
The media needs to stop making them famous for doing it too. I'm sick of having their faces & personal sides shoved down our throats.

I myself live in very close proximity to Sand Hook School, and actually attended when I was in elementary school. You cannot imagine what it's like to watch the TV all day and recognize 75% of the people you see. Or what it's like to live in a tiny town that now has international attention for one of the most despicable acts in history, or recognizing the shooter (which btw the above post is not the correct young man) as a someone that attended the same high school at the same time as you.
I'm lucky enough to have not lost anyone in my immediate family today, but so many others can't say the same, and when the names are released I guarantee almost the entire town is directly effected. Opening fire on a kindergarten class is simply the most cowardly and nauseating thing imaginable. I think I speak for anyone that happens to read this post when I say; our condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to all of those affected by today's events..... Don't let me down MFK guys

Damn near had a heart attack when my kid didn't show up after school and now there's cops outside my house with rifles (I live a stones throw away from our high school)

I don't know what the hecks going on. This is just terrible makes me sad all those innocent people and kids had to die makes me sick
