We are totally taking over her thread but that pond looks sweet! I would love some spotted/Florida gars... so pretty. How much do you have to worry about predators getting the fish? Like raccoons or birds.

That looks awesome. I bet backyard bbq's are a blast. Always wondered how do you tell if something is wrong with a pond fish not like tou can see them close up

True, this pond he had to redo, the first builders didnt put enough cement as foundation in the bottom and once we put some water after a few months the bottom started to crack and it bust opened. So me and my dad had to hire a different contrator to dig up the pond and do it all over again.

Its bad thats why we lower the water level and in the summer we put metal screen above it cause of the birds, we have a boxer dog and raccons are scared of them.

I use wooden frames with plastic mesh over for birds. The yorkie pup is too scared to get close to a pigeon even

Here is the picture of the pond, sorry i had to take the picture from my room, there is alittle water in it cause i drain the water last friday cause we been having a storm and it rains alot so me and my dad dont want the pond to over flow. Last time it did over flow, koi's got out and seagulls have a buffet, we almost all the koi.

Why are you expecting your plants to fail?

Do you have an upgrade plan at some point for the endli and ornate? I am a bichir newbie but in my head they both will eventually need more room... esp. if you plan on adding more.
