This was one of 4 Marbles kept in a 125.
I was given a my dad is sick and I need the money story, followed by a need money for doctor bills story. I told him I'd help him rehome the rays. Took a month, but I did some saving and scrounged up enough for the female. I contacted some other people and together me and another guy bought the group in an attempt to help him and the rays both.
The group was delievered Sunday night to the buyer of the other 3, the seller was paid for the 3 I wasn't getting, and shortly after departing the buyer of the other 3 noticed 1 ray was blind. He called the seller and the seller never answered. To my knowledge there has been no contact between them. I know another attempt to contact was made yesterday. No answer. I sent pics to the seller and never heard anything from the seller. I disputed my claim with paypal and the seller responded quickly saying he was only responsable for delivering the rays to the shipper (also the buyer of the other 3) and they were fine when he dropped off. There's no way the rays were even properly purged, as I had a bag full of fecies, along with the disc chunks.
The claim will be decided by Paypal.
I didn't make this thread to air dirty laundry or point fingers.... It was made so we all realize the value that should be placed on the trust a buyer NEEDS to have with a seller. IF you don't trust they'll do the right thing in a worse case scenario DON'T DO THE DEAL.
Also let this be a lesson about what happens when you don't properly plan for a long trip with rays in the car. I've always used 12V water and air pumps, prime, and always take water with. Always use the pumps, and if it's gonna be 3+ hours in that tote they get waterchanges.......
Not sure about other people's practices but maybe we could all benefit by sharing our transporting techniques.
