If the fish is content on just swimming then wouldn't you want to give it a larger tank, more room to swim in.;)
apparently an aro in a 26g BF is enough space........ even though the aro is about as long as the tank is

^ i think that vid is just to show the aro eating live feeders TBH.
I still don't get the way some people think, the fish you buy should be the last thing you're thinking about. Everything else should be in place and running.
"I'm goning to get a bigger tank!" means you're going to have to figure out, filter, media, pump, plumbing, decor, lid, lights, diet, water chages (5gal buckets don't do it in 200Gal tanks) and anything else while you keep your fish in a tank that will be getting smaller and smaller as you get your new set up running. not to metion the cost involved of the new set up. There's also questions and problems you don't see coming until your "new tank" is being set up.
If you're loaded you can buy it all in one hit, but me, like most I presume, you have to buy completely new set ups in bits, tank stand and filter one month, filter media plumbing, test kits and pump the next, take a few weeks putting it together, cycle for a month, there's 3 months of growth for a fish that grows fast.
and your fish is getting bigger and bigger.
You don't buy furniture for a house while you're living at your mom's. You buy the funiture to fit your house when you buy the house. Backward thinking.

With all those plans you must be swimming in cash man, those are some lofty goals but would be some awesome setups for sure.

Unless you find some amazing deals you are looking at well over $10,000.00 in equipment if not much more.

actually i had a nice talk with my lfs, and the actual equip for the 180g tanks is only running about 1600 a piece. i dont know the price on the 360 yet. the saltwater tank is a much later project, that will cost the most. i can get the tanks all cycling in a reasonable amount of time then its easy from there. but you might be right there. but you cant put a price on happiness. when your life aspirations only cost 10g's, then im going for it.

im saving the saltie tank for when i get all my other tanks set up and running and then i can do the research and etc. plus the fish for it are like 60 dollars each.... but really its an attainable goal of mine, and i think itll work out one day.
