silver aro in 90 gal

yeah, theyre very jumpy. as soon as my lights go out it sounds like if theres a tsunami in my tank. i can hear splashing and banging all night. have you though about some LED lighting for night time?

would use less electricty...
 
im not sure where i would get that kind of lighting..... but i know the actinic lighting uses just as much energy as normal lighting, well at least my bulb does, but gets a bit warmer.
 
check ebay. there are plenty of LED light strips that you just attach to your light fixture. or you can buy the wired LEDs and attach them yourself. ive been wanting to do something like this...
 
i suppose you dont need too much lighting at night..... my tank is going to have a wooden canopy, actually i plan on all of them having one, as one of my tank is going to have bichir almost exclusively and i need good lids.
 
maybe add some pacu? no scracth the pacu. maybe itd be better to just have the LSN's so the water quality is maintained easier.
 
wow thats sad. if it were ok to keep one in a tank that size id be schooling them...... dream world for most....
