Silver Saum or Green Terror - Opinions please

No I didn't google it, its on my favorite list, but didn't you do the same thing posting a link of someone else? And yes I did look it up a little more and I will admit I was wrong and you were right

yeah i see, that was all in conjunction with the Equador/peru debate.

he also mis labeled the sizes of his fish, but i won't get into that...
 
this issue comes up alot i think we the first pic is of a silver saum not a true green terror and is also different from the gold saum
the rest of the pics are of the so called "true" green terror

the main difference is in the color look at the shiny green color on a saum its the back round of the scales on a true terror the scales them selfs are green dead give away

as you can see this is how people make money selling saums as true green terrors

I can tell at least in the fish trade that this is a great source of confusion. I think I have seen maybe 3 or 4 true green terror on this site and the majority are Gold Saum. Even I have just a gold saum (of course I think he is a bad ass because he is) and was fooled like almost everyone else.

i have posted seven of mine, Modest man has or had 4 or 5, and acestro has posted his breeder's before.

those are the only one i know of on this site, but Tom has been selling F1 fry's across america so i know there's a few more members here with a few.
 
everyone here uses the name green terror for there gold saums just because its the common name for them this really just adds to the confusion
