Transportation of live snakehead species in or through Pennsylvania is prohibited.


I would have never thought they could survive a PA winter .

good joke... this is entirely untrue.

however they're pretty abundant in the Potomac around DC, so if you are looking for a good snakehead trip, take your boat to the potomac river here in maryland. they're being caught in good numbers in the Mattawoman Creek, and they're present in higher numbers north toward DC.

Amazed they can stand that type of cold and fast flowing water. They are found here in hot and no current canals . Limited even than.

channa argus i beleive can handle the cold,thats why argus are also banned in the uk unless you have a special permit
