Directly across the street from george washington grist mill- douge creek. Park right before the bridge and you can walk down along the creek , i have no idea on depth but it is very slow moving and full of smaller fish.
This is supposed to be the snakehead hotspot. It has tons of trash around from others fishing but its worth a try. Google Mount vernon cleaners its maybe a block from there if you need directions. right off route 1
