Sorry to come into this one late, but I know of no fish on here that causes such contrivance as a Channa. First off my I say every one to there own! if it was not for monster fish this site would not be here. In my book the Channa family is a top monster(I said a not the). But we seem to have this “my fish is so much harder than your fish” macho :swear: going on as you can see there are stunning looking snakeheads, small snakeheads and big ugliest snakeheads! The bulk of the argument seems to come from not being allowed to own one. I would like a Desert Eagle hand gun but hear in the UK that is totally out of the question, but I don’t bang on about gun laws and how most Americans can own one. It’s the law and that’s the end. People have just got to appreciate these fish and saying that there owners I would say 80% are responsible and 19% are idiots that kill the fish 1% is a complete that would consider releasing it.:screwy:

Thats probable true, I don't know the details and guessed a little. They are substaincially larger though.

Ash: Yes I still want one and once I get the tank setup I will be on a mission to get one. How big is your fourth.

I think i remember watching it on UK tv documentary, on a program about invasive
species.

snakeheads aren't too illegal (lol wrong choice of words but oh well)

You can just fish one out of a pond in florida... theres an established population down there for sport fishing
