Download the PDFs for the Elasmobranch Husbandry Manual I & II, yhey don't have too much info on fw rays, but it's still very useful as their data is taken from a bunch of aquariums and zoos, they also have some very nice info on medication, quarentine and prophylaxis, overall a recommended read (and it's free, just google it).
Is this from the aqua log series that you are referring to here?

image.jpg So I have made arrangements for most of my current fish to be re homed for now. I am just wondering if anyone here has any experience with keeping loaches with rays? I have a pack of 9 blue botias- Modesta I think. They are all around 4-5.5” so might be a little while before the Ray would make them food?? I understand that rays are best kept with only other rays due to acute stress of other fish, out competing with food and the such. I have seen rays and clown loaches kept together long term seemingly successfuly. Just wondering if anyone has any firsthand experience with this who would care to share

So I am ready to pick up the pup now. Might be going on Monday or some time next week to pick it up.

I cleared up some floor space and installed 2 wavemakers on the opposite side of my intakes to create a good flow. As per now I am hoping to keep the pleco and botias and keep an eye on them. I have a plan for both of something comes up, I am prepared to re home.

Hes quite chubby. Lol and He’s cruising around the tank. Has already mouthed some of The pellets and seems to like chewing on snail shells.

Should I be worried about old snail shells?

I have spent the last week pulling out shells and random rocks and pebbles that were previously in my sand. Trying to make sure it was as smith as possible for him.
