and yea, when the garabaldi goes in ill give him multiple choices for territories. :)

Post 2 threads? One in video section and one in salt?

Giant Kelp tends to get nasty after a while, I used to change it once a week in tanks. I'm not sure what the requirements are for making them grow in an aquarium, but they need high nutrients afaik.

Shorter stock, could you be referring to Laminaria spp.?

What are you feeding everyone? I fed most of the fish I kept market squid twice a week, and flakes in the days in between. Chopped up the squid tentacles for smaller guys, gave the head to the anemones, and sliced up calamari rings for the fish.

Cool cool. I'll definitely keep my eye on your tank, I'm surprised more people in SoCal havent done the same. Unless there's something I don't know about in regards to keeping SoCal marine life.

Cool tank, but most, if not all, CA fish are illegal to keep in an aquarium without the proper permits! Keeping Garibaldi will earn you jail time, as will any fish considered to be a game fish such as Sculpin, Calico Bass, or Sheepshead, as well as anything collected from a tidepool. No charge for the heads up!
