its about 530 gallons. heres some pics. the socks are 50 the mat is 100 microns. drip plate to bio-balls. there are about 100 qts of bio-balls. in other words that tub is slap full.
 
Just looks like a bad case of green water (free floating algea). Add an UV-C unit and it should clear right up ;).
 
i am soo broke its not funny is there any way around buying more stuff? i tried turning off the lights for a week.... no change.
 
all you gota do is leave the lights off for a week and do water changes
 
how about you just do a water test? then we can see what the levels are like and we will know for sure what the problem is.
 
don't be discouraged, everyone is just trying to help with excellent advice, eliminate direct sunlight
 
Take a read on your nitrate levels...check the spectrum of your lights..you don't want full spectrum plant growing light bulbs... Turn you lights off unless you are going to view the fish...if the room is windowless, turn on a room light instead.

A couple of large water changes coupled with the above should solve it for you...
