first things first, did you travel back in time on the way to your local fish store to get the dechlor and medicine the first time?

Secondly, like RD. said stop random treatments of meds. Over my time in the hobby I have killed more fish using meds than letting whatever they had wrong with them run its course. And to go even further than that, stop changing the tank around. adding new gravel, taking it out, removing everything in the tank, etc. is al putting more stress on the fish. You are going to overlove that fish to death. You need a heater, obviously, and good husbandry practices and that will help you tremendously.

I wonder what the tank is filtered with? Is there sufficient water flow? Do you have enough surface agitation to provide an ample amount of oxygen transfer? These are all questions that should be answered in conjunction with your parameters before you even begin to think about medicines. If its ick and you know it is 100% then treat that, flukes as well, otherwise stop, period. Good luck!

What are your water parameters?
Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate...

Like RD said, pick one medication, and stick to that..... But FIRST identify what you have. If they are randomly flashing their entire body, look for white spots. If he's scratching his gills and acting "tired" it's most likely gill flukes.

Best thing for GILL flukes is praziquantel (methylene blue is too soft for flukes, even potassium permanganate is better to use. Do what you want though. You got 5 or so different suggestions here). NEVER heard about waiting a month to treat gill-flukes. Good luck, they'll be dead by then.

For ich, I agree with the others: heat + salt + water-change.

that an another problem, co'z i dont have an Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate tester, i went lfs just now to buy meds and also bring some water from the tank to test, but sad to say they don't have a tester too..

Yes, I wonder the same thing? When you removed all of that gravel you may have caused an ammonia spike, which could also be irritating your fish, causing some flashing such as seen in your video.

Bingo! Before one adds ANY type of medication to the tank, first you must know exactly what you are attempting to treat. You should never just add medication willy-nilly.

I concur, prazi is #1 for gill flukes - IF that's what this turns out to be.

i think the Ammonia, nitrite & nitrate are still the same as before, because before i removed the gravel, i transfered the water first to my 5gal tank then put this FH there, and the other fishes were put together in the buckets.

my mistake is, i put them back immediately to the 35gal tank after changing the gravel & water without cycling it again.

okey i understand, thanks for the advice, if he survive i will never do that changing anything again bro btw i take out the ornaments to avoid making damage to his face from scratching on it.

i used top filter with is suitable up to 60gals, yes bro i think i have enough oxygenation.



anyway, i think i should stick to this one, i bought it just now and its mainly for flowerhorn.... its 150php a little bit expensive compare to the methyline blue just 20php.

i didn't buy a heater because my friend offer me to borrow his heater, he will bring it to me this afternoon... i hope this process will work...

I would strongly suggest testing the water parameters, adding all that medication could re-cycle the tank. That is another possibility. Go to your local fish store and have them test your water for free. I would do it soon. You need to know your water parameters, sometimes with hight ammonia and nitrite they hang at the surface. All the meds and gravel changing could have cause the tank to re-cycle and if that's the case you need to start doing water changes.

bro i already do that, went to lfs and bring some water from the tank to test, 7 lfs i done visited to test the water from my tank but none of them had a tester.. sad they are sucks

it was about 16 hours has been passed after the heater and med was set-up.

THE GOOD
this morning He is going better, he is very active again, i observed him in more than an hour and i don't see scratching anymore at the same time he not hanging also, unlike yesterday before i sleep he looks very tired and looks can't able to swim, the only problem remain is he can't able to eat, he spit it out.

The BAD
my beautiful Buttikoferi is died in a sudden, yesterday before i put the heater and med he is very healthy, but i was surprised when i wake up this morning seeing him died... i didn't see any damage from his body, ichecked his gill, there's something i see i dont know if it is normal or not (just look at the pics).
