I currently rotate zoo med spirulina 20 flakes into their diet, and feed smaller fish this daily.

Can anyone recommend a good spirulina based pellet ?

Hikari Bio Gold has high green content. I always try to work it into my feeding regiment solely for that reason.

I also have used Algaemax, and HBH super soft spirlina from Jehmco (right in your neighborhood.
And some people may find this funny, but the I have found the HBH goldfish pellets, work well for omnivores cichlids with a tendency toward the vegetarian side, those such as Vieja/Maskaheros/Paraneetroplus/Chuco, and Herichthys.

Thx duanes gonna check out the hbh stuff.

Anyone use the YFS brand ?

Never heard of YFS but we have been using North Fin spirulina pellets. They work for our Tropheus but I am not sure if they are avalible in the US.

Just read the ingredient list on YFS looks high on the fats side. Fats aren't good for tropical fish at least not that much fat.
I think NLS is around 5 percent fats.
