stocking ideas for 5 1/2 gallon aquarium

i got a bueatiful betta for my aquarium (its neon blue boddy and spikes going into its tail and then its bright red and it so cool!!) what would be a good takmate for it? im going to buy a few ghost shrimp for the clean crew anyone?
 
No tankmates, your tank is full, especially male betta. And no ghost shrimp. Betta and ghost shrimp are not good mix IMO especially in small 5 gal tank. 10gal could work for betta and ghost shrimp. So no tankmates.
 
ok i cant find any place around here that sells dividers for a 5 gallon tank so does anyone here know how to make a clear divider?
 
Not worth to make a divider in small 5gal tank...that means there will be less space for any fish.
 
ok im going to make it a planted tank with my male crowntail and mabye a few shrimp and the occasionly a few feeder guppies for protien and exersize u ppl think this would work?
 
5 gal isnt big enough for any fish IMHO, Planted shrimp tank would be nice. Id say 1 Betta and one apple snail. but thats if you wanted a betta. Please be responsible in the way you stock this tank, and think about whats best for the fish and not whats best for you.
 
um...ive already said it will be for jsut one crowntail betta and i always put my fish first if they need bigger space i either give them away or get a bigger tank for them
