stocking ideas for 5 1/2 gallon aquarium

i already have the betta in a 1 gallon that he is going into the 5 so whatever else i put in has to be betta friendly lol
 
Male betta will be perfect in a 5.5 gallon. In the wild they live in ponds drying up. Some live their whole lives in these little ponds. You could also put two cory cats in there. Bettas or cories don't get that big.

lol ya u did :P well i jsut got a large amount or hornwort and put my male crowntail betta in it and he is now as happy as ever :)

.......They also live in rice fields which are 10s of thousands gallons big.
 
Pygmy Sunfish, Darter, Same-gender Mosquitofish (You'll know why if you read my sig:grinno:) Chaetodon Sunfish, Shrimp or Apple Snails (like Msjinkzd said) White Clouds, or, according to my LFS, Tricolor Bala Sharkminnow:screwy::ROFL:
 
o and my plans of stocking it for now are cancled cuz i now have to use it to house my baby swodtails cuz hte mama just gave birth ;)
