Yes exactly, it uses high pressure and high temperature steam for prolonged periods of time. It's used a lot in piercing parlors, tattoo parlors, and hospitals for all their reusable surgery items.

I had spent like 2 years stretching. And had 8 piercings on ears. I had gotten to a 4g when i ended up in er and back and forth between xrays and mris and surgery it was such a pain i just kept my earring off for months then years so i gave up.

That's when you go organic. At least it would help with the X-ray part

Cool thread ;] I've only got my lobes done & they're 4g, eventually to be 0's. I thought about having 6's next to that lobe piercing but don't know if I will since I've already taken out two sets of ear piercings for job purposes. Had 14 now only 9. ;/

One thing I hate is having to remove all piercings for mri/cat scans. Does wood do anything benefical, like keep your ears cleaner or something? I use plastic/acrylic only, haven't tried wood.
