So big news today after doing a massive water change to get the prazi pro out of the system and doing a pretty big shift on the plants and hardscape im fairly certain my female acara has dropped her breeding tube.

Heres what theyve been getting fed. Flakes daily and ive been spacing the other four as a treat just one kind every other day. Also as the fish take the flakes they get plenty of duckweed. The green shows up well in their waste. Brobably gonna go with frozen bloodworms instead of the freeze dried brine shrimp. The cichlids dont seem to like them. Maybe too chewy

Everyone else is doing great. Mom and dad take turns guarding the eggs so far and they couldnt have picked a better spot to spawn. About 2.5 inches off a side wall right on the back glass. So the rest of the tank is acting very normally
So far theyve even let the firemouth in the last picture keep his place at the base of that lily
Actually my cory cats have been evicted from the bottom of the tank one or more of them have been perched on this plant all day.
