It isn't hard and boring. I don't have a lasting impression of bad fish husbandry. I have heard of people with saltwater tanks that haven't done water changes in years. I am not that bad lol.

being one of them, dose specific chemicals to eliminate nitrate from their systems completely removing the need for water changes.
If only I could do that on freshwater automatically lol. I do water changes. I would set up a drip system, but those don't work.
Yep, I'm stand my ground with Carbon dosing in Saltwater system to remove Nitrate and eliminate the need of water change in saltwater system.those folks, I believe
that's seriously foolish. How does adding fresh water to a system not work? I could see the inefficiency side of the argument IF the system is incorrectly set up (too slow of a drip, drain too close to the drip etc) but there are people on here who do NOTHING but use drip systems and their systems are at a constant 10-15 ppm nitrate. Please show me how that can be inefficient when executed properly.
