as far as wild aros dont get drop eye because of more room, i may have to agree because there is a 20"+ silver at the Big Als in south florida that has no dropeye at all. It is in a huge tank thousands of gallons with more then enough room to swim.

They look to be around 18" to 26" in length, so they are on the younger side of things and it may just be that it hasn't developed yet. I'll snap a bunch more shots of them tonight and post them up. Also, the one in my avatar is a wild, and while it looks like it has DE, the preceeding video showing it preparing to jump shows that it doesn't. It's just looking down during the jump preparing for landing.
