ive had to deal with marineland a few times but nothing this bad. they are usually pretty good with customer service. hopefully they will take care of you. im sorry for all the water and stuff. but it would be a shame to loose you from the hobby over a defective part. let them replace your setup and start fresh. but from the story/ pictures, you have a pretty decent lawsuit on your hands if wanted. and i would mention it to them. just explain they you have a, broken glass EVERYWHERE and explain how it was shot across the room, explain the extent of the water damages and damage/loss of property, the fish are counted as loss because they could die from not having a properly cycled tank and the proper equipment to keep them alive. and a traumatized little brother. whom which every time he sees a fish tank he throws his hands up in the air and runs away screaming bloody murder. j/k in the last part but id be pretty scared of exploding tanks tho. flying glass never ends well really. and they will be more than happy to write you a check to keep this out of the media. stories like this can do alot of damage on the company's sales. good luck! and again sorry for your misfortune. just glad no one was too terribly hurt
