Maybe he can clarify but in another thread he said the arow was already 18"...

how does 3 pbass (monos) and 2 rays sound?

btw aro is like 18 inches, or at least 16, 18 is more likely

You'd need an upgrade to at least a 30" wide tank for pbass as well as the rays.. if you're not planning on upgrading then I would leave them both out for now. It's only 6x2' so things will start getting cramped with too much big stuff. Not to mention eventually having problems turning around.

Check out oscars, red bay snooks, chinese perch(hard to find), dats, smaller catfish, severum cichlids, silver dollars, etc. You still have alot of options just nothing that gets over 24".

I don't see why there is doubt about whether or not his parents got him a 220.

when I was younger, my dad, who loves fish too, got us a 90 gallon setup, a 65 gallon setup , a 10, and a 30...

you add that up its about the same amount cost wise as a 220..

if mom and dad love aquariums as much as he does, its entirely possible if the funds are there...

6 feet of wall space is not THAT much more when you comare to all the 4 foot tanks that are common out there..

just saying..

its not as impossible as you might think.

remember: mom and dad get the tank.

but they dont have to do any work on it :)

i had a bar mitzvah and I got 3000 dollars. I'm using 1200 on the tank and everything else

theyre all really boring in my opinion. I want display fish, not dither fish. (except for oscars, which im looking into)
