I'm bringing back around 5lbs of venison for university always a favourite of mine. As for the fish, carp are not bad tasting just get the smaller ones. The big ones are great for feeding your fish. As said deep freeze then feed

I don't know were you live but firing a weapon into a body of water here would likely see you either in jail, bankrupt and definitely never seeing said weapon again. same goes for any handheld weapons used on fauna, regardless of invasive status.

I'm not firing weapons into the water,but I know people who do,law enforcement tends to turn a blind eye to this sort of behavior here

that'd be different, you are ALLOWED to fire in self defense if the animal is within distance to cause physical harm to you, just shooting at invasives however is going to land you with far less cash lol.

I'd be lying if I said me and my redneck friends never floated down a river in kayaks and may or may not have fired rounds at carp and the beavers destroying the landscape...but its not the smartest lol

Banjos? I think that's an old rural legend. To keep the people flying, "over fly over country" from landing.
