That's awesome. I've been thinking of getting into gardening to calm my nerves. Seems to be a calming and tranquil hobby.

I wonder if Gardening Hobbyists go crazy over the rare veggies that end up growing and pay top dollar....LOL..HAHAHA

Would any of these be considered rare and the holy grail of the gardening world....LOL

How about the "GOLD PHASE TOMATO"

How about the "mutant Tomato"

The "short bodied" tomatoes are the bomb!!! Their perfect to just gobble up. That mutant tomato looks scary, with the eyes and like the mouth.:screwy:

Gardening is awesome, plus it totally reflects your personality and habits. Some people are over protected(Did you see my fence up, lol), can be lazy at times(did you see the weeds).:D I just love the end factor, last year I had this pumpkin it was only like 12 inches round, tiny compared to the normal jack'o'lantern pumpkins but I kept that baby for over 6 months in the basement until it turned to mush.........then I took it outside and destroyed it.

Well got some newer pics, tonight actually. The watermelon have grown alot, so have the cantaloupe. I'm excited to see how they grow and see what I get. The tomatos have flowers, and so do some of the peppers. AND........I might have my first cucumber!!! lol :) Also, there is a few reference shots to show size, don't make fun of my awesome paleness. :)

Ignore the weeds, I do a section every few days so some parts are okay and some are growing wild.

Looking good. My veggies didn't fair so well in the heat. The flowers and other plants are thriving. Someday I'll get my computer fixed and get some pics up.

where is your mulch?

Mulch, smulch I don't need that, lol. I've never done mulch, IDK just never thought of using it. I'm sure it would help with the weeds.

The veggies are great here, but highest temps so far is today and yesterday 90, which feels like 190 when your not used to this weather, lol.

I planted some stargazer lilies, random I know but they looked cool, plus free for the ladies unlike paying 2.99 for a single rose.

Hope to see some pics. :)

i am soo jealous i wish i could keep anything alive past may

decomposes and makes compost aswell. it's essential with every garden, I dono about your country, but we also suffer from many many droughts, so it's essential to keep the water in. just use lawn clippings you collect when you mow your lawn.

wow you did great gardening this year...keep those pics coming..
