that's a lot of fish. i'm only curious: how big is your tank?
how much salt did you add per gallon?

200 gallon. they are all very small. ist a grown out tank for my pond and 500 gallon tank. a added a table spoon for every 5 gallons

how big was the tank? That may give you your answer

the tank is 200g. most of those fish have been in there for 2 months or longer and have been fine. so idk what the problem was

This made me wonder....how long has the tank been set up? Was it fully cycled before you added everyone...had you added anything new to the tank that could of sent it into a "mini" cycle?

What a ****. Could one of the big monsters have died without you noticng it, due to the cloudy water and fouled the whole system?

when i first noticed the cloudy water, the first thing i checked was that all my fish were alive. and i have an amonia and ph meter in my tank and that was fine also. and before i took all the water out i did a full tank test and everything was fine

DO you have feeders in the tank? I think the tank is overcrowded.

yea i ha feeders in the tank but they had been quarentined for 2 weeks prior. and no its not overcrowded.

Judging by the fact that there is a brown knife and butterfly fish in the tank, all the cats and pacu must have been juvies.

My guess is a 55g.. maybe a 75g?

uh but yeah no surprise it was an ammonia spike that killed your fish.

yea they were fine. i was astonished. ohh and thanks for saying "sorry about your loss" and nt trying to sound like a know-it-all like most of the other ppl that have been on this thread. *coughcoughMileschoughcough* hahaha
