And for those of you who may be interested in getting a few of either of these. When you are in a LFS;
1. If they refer to them as Zebra Obliquidens, then they are "most likely" Astatotilapia Latisfaciata.
2. If they refer to them as Haplochromis Obliquidens, then they are "Most likely" the Haplochromis sp. 44 "Thickskin".

Wheeeew!:)

The tank right next to the "ZO's" had what they just called Obliquidens. They were smaller with not much color so I went with the "ZO" male.

I'm serious about shipping these out if someone wants some. It will be a while before They are big enough to send but I will be willing to ship them out. Maybe we can do some bartering if someone else has something I'm interested in....

I will check back later when I have some swimmers....

By the way my wife is going to crap tomorrow when I come home with another fish tank!!! :headbang2

You would never know until you grew them out either.

Let me know when you decide to get rid of them... I may take a a bunch of them off of your hands to put in the new fishroom.

Absolutely. I'm not really looking to sell these things to make money. My primary interest is to keep the species around. Other serious hobbiest get the first dibs. I sell them back to the pet store some snot nosed kid may by a couple to put in with his puffer, baby Jag and that cute little catfish with the red tail that is so friendly come feeding time.
