dont get mad all ( dont know why you would ) but got a 3 or 4 gallon eclipes for 8 buxs. would 1 male betta and a few shrimps be fine for that tank ( weekly water change on it to ) and it will be heavenly planted.

well before i get rid of my oscar ( one with HITH ) i want to cure him first so it doesnt make it look like im a bad owner ( i am NOT a bad owner. just slow at things ) reason being that they dont belive me * grandma * is cause im slow and have a lot of disabliltys

The tank will be fine for a betta and some shrimp. You should have a heater for it because bettas are not cold water fish despite how they are kept by many people/

Your tank at approx 65-70 gallons of water is no where near enough for those 3 fish. I say 65-70 gallons because you have decor, fish and your water level is low plus you never get the amount of water advertised into a tank.

I will be blunt because I do not like beating around the bush. You are going to kill your fish, simple as that. They will suffer for a while in substandard water that is dirty because a 10 gallon water change weekly is not enough when you are talking about 3 massive poop machines.
Couple this with the fact they are in a tank that has no more than 70 gallons of water in and you will make them ill, suffer for a while then they will die but you will just do it again.
You are going back to your old convict breeder ways of keeping fish no matter their health because you want them and nothing else matters.
You know you are in a crappy home position to keep fish. I mean, negotiating 10 gallons of water per week. That is a joke, I waste more than that everyday just running the tap to get the water cold for a drink.
You really need to give up for a while until you move out or down grade at the very least but I think even if you get a smaller tank you will just cram fish in, get bored and then do what you want to anyway. No matter what happens to the fish, if they die or get ill you will make a few posts and people will respond and you will do it again. It is a never ending cycle of animal abuse in your posts.

Setting up a new little tank is going to cost your household more than extra water changes for your current tank would.

The problem is the amount of waste these 3 fish make, 2 x oscars and a common pleco, in such a small volume of water. Nitrates would go through the roof in a week, the ppm would be quite a large number.
You need to seriously consider going to one oscar if you are intent on keeping oscars, and then maybe a firemouth and BN pleco but until you get that extra space filled in your tank and up the water changes to weekly and up the volume then you are looking at a potential disaster IMO.
I don't know what else to say to you, the answers are here in this thread and the other hundred about the same thing that you have made. You need to read this whole thread and others, take stock of what you have been advised, make the decision on what you want to do and then live with the consequences.
ok just got a temp sticker. tank is 78 degrees. ( suprised she let me have a heater! been going for 3 months. elec bill is still the same, so she cant blame my heater. ) but she was telling me that im suppose to have it at 70 degrees.. i told her NO that is way to cold. tropical fish in the wild are normally around 60 to 70, NOT 78, she thinks thats whats causeing the HITH to my oscars LOL LOL. told her to do her research on fish, she said she has ( no she hasnt ) and thinks that 70 is to hot and causes my oscars to have HITH...... wow..
