ok good, plus that pump is only like 40.00 on most catalog sites

Go with the scrubbing pads. I bought out 3 different dollar stores of their 6 and 10 for $1 packs and had enough for the wet/drys on 2000gals worth of tanks. Cost of scrubbies for all 3 giant wet/drys was under $40.

How many you think itd take to do a 75?

Not much. Those little bio-balls only have 21.5 sq/ft of surface area for bacteria to adhere to. That's why they're so cheap. 1 1/2" bio-balls have 160sq/ft of surface area per gallon but, cost alot more. It'll take about 3-4 bucks to make up a gallon of scrubbies. But, they'll have a surface area of 370sq/ft.

I wouldn't steer a marine in the wrong direction. I was a field corpsman for 2 years (training-FMS/FMSS/FMF) and 3 years up at Pendleton. Of course, that was before I switched to gun & missile firecontrol and got out of the dirt.
