you should convince those guys to sell them to people in europe and North america for a modest price it would really be profitable. i'd personally love to have a cane toad i think they are awesome(where they are native)
I'm sure there are plenty in NA already. I would hope no one would pay to bring them into the country...

yeah they are down south but i meant as pets id totally love a huge ass toad

Keelbacks can eat the taddies and smaller toadlets without dying although they can't do enough to act like a biological control.

I wouldnt kill them here as dont think they take a toll on anything but domestic dogs and cats . In other words not native herps, etc.

I cant fathom them taking a toll on native wild life as they dont climb and move slow as can be .
if I lived in Australia that is a different story as you have lots native small mammals only found there that they will eat.

In hawaii these guys are fast. I've personally seen them take birds. Aren't they in florida already. I'd think they would be with all the herp keepers up there and a tendancy for someone to "lose" their pets.

when I was in florida at the condo we were staying at the niehbor's kids had one in the porch that they fed dog food

Yes they exist in Florida but most people simply hates them even in the herp comunity;)
