There’s a ton of different types, just do a google search. Just be careful since some synos get huge and are territorial. The S. Petricola stay around 4-5” and are a shoaling type. My favorite is S Decorus and S angelicusWhat are some other species of synodontis

They’re awesome and they shoal, they do get 12-15” though. Considering you should have 5 really but can get away with 3, I think the might be a little bigS multipunctuatus?
