Three legged Painted Turtle

My friend (fishyz) and I were at a local pond in search of painted and snapper turtles. the first turtle we happened to catch was a male painted turtle, 4 inch shell, with only three legs(missing the left front). we are wondering if any of you would be willing to give this three legged friend of ours a home. i currently dont have the tank space, and neither does fishyz. we really do need someone to volunteer to take this turtle in, we also will be posting this in the buy/sell section. following is the link of a video and two pictures of the turtle.

well first off, we ran into a guy down there who was smoking pot and was saying how he had a hobby of catching turtles down there and it looks like the leg mighta been cut off, and two, cuz the thing was in such a sad condition, we couldnt just let it stay and die

please, does anyone have any interest in taking him in to there home and sheltering him? also, how mad do turtles have to be to hiss

As for the pot smoking, turtle catching guy.... YOU were catching turtles, same as him... no difference.

Was the missing leg section healed up, etc? He was getting around quite well on his own.

It's still.... never mind.... shouldn't have taken it.

HAH I would love to see him try and catch a fawn from its parents.

If the turtle's leg wound is healed up, it has obviously been able to survive with the injury for some time. Just let it go if you are not able to take care of it. It will be fine. As for the crackhead, well call the game commission and tell them some crazy hobo is trying to catch deer or something. Be creative!
