good luck with the fish hope it pulls through

Wasn't superglue invented as an instant suture for battlefield wounds? I swear I heard that somewhere... I've been using it for a while to attach my plants to rocks & driftwood. Works great.

Variations of super glue have been and are used for both human and marine application in wound healing. One use for it is sealing leather corals during prorogation. It may help to seal an open wound. It will not keep the nose straight if you reset it, that requires a splint which you can theoretically do.

super glue might work depends on the amount of smashing into the glass trying to get it off its nose...worth a try though it has sealed up my wounds in the past!

I've seen superglue for koi injuries at my LFS. You just dry the area, glue it, wait about one full minute and let the fish go about its business. I don't know which chemicals were in it though. I vote to glue that nose. Stitches can be bad news in fragile fish skin. And an open wound like that is just inviting systemic infection. Just make sure you have the right glue. Good luck.
