my friends think im a dork sometimes cuz I go to fish club meetings. They're like "you are in a FISH CLUB?"

my friends just think i'm weird, if they see me on MFK they call it Fish Space........i have one friend who loves learning about them, we sit in front of my 125 and chief. we call it Aqua Life Theater!!!! my sis recently asked my why i am so into fish and i told her i don't really feal like i am artistic enough to draw anymore (used to) so this is like the only kinda art i can truely create........i'm 25 been keepin fish since i was like 18-19. i just say they hell w/ em it's for my enjoyment not for their approval

" kinda thing a lot especially since i live in an apartment and keep ......
1) a 2ft tank,
2) a 3ft tank
3) four 4ft bird cages with 28 lovebirds
4) one 4ft bird cage with 20 finches
............ all in my bedroom

I get it sometimes, the people at my work are older and actually thought it was odd that I have fish, till I show them my tank. Then they start saying things like "that cool I want one" "can you make my kids a small tank like that" ect....
ok iam a bit older but, people at work most around 40-50yr's poke fun at me, including one who call's me "fishman' So i call him chicken boy as he keep's chicken's. and he has the nerve to poke fun at me..ha
I was is bio class and we were talking about genetics. When i said a bred fish. Everyone looked like i was from another planet. But, by the end of class no body cared. I still find it funny when people consider like 6 tanks an insane amount. I only total to about 300 gallons.
i get the amount of tanks thing too. people are like whoa when i say i have 6 tanks total up and going. and im like what...the largest at the moment is a 55g. it just goes 55,29,29,10,10 and my beastly 1g betta tank. I have a 150 waiting to go up though, just need filters,canopy, and lights.
The women at college look at me strange but i try and make it sound cool like "marine biology" which is what i study i suppose if i didn't my fish and coral propogation would die lol
The children i work with love hearing about my fish and so do my cousins
who are 7/10 they love giving them names and asking questions.

my parents just manage to kill my oscars. the count is up to 7 now. i dont know how they do it...
