With all of those setups, low light plants are probably your best option. Anubias and java, etc. Your lights would probably be fine for that sort of thing. If you see them starting to brown or melt, then maybe an upgrade to LED would be good. Beamswork makes nice LED fixtures cheap. I also own a finnex planted+ led and it works great for my low light plants.
Personally I would separate the HRPs and acaras, put the HRPs in the 125, get like 6-8 more of them (mostly females) with some livebearers. Could also try a single larger cichlid with all the HRPs, maybe a nicaraguense. I had a similar setup to this with panamensis and a larger hericthys, and it worked pretty well.
If you put the two pairs in the 125, im sure you can get some more cichlids like firemouths to live in there, but would just be kind of a mismatched setup. If you do put FM's I would put at least 5, they like a group.
