Great cats. In my experience just 2 will fight. I had about 5 and they were great together.

I just couldn't take it no more. That big beautiful tank sitting there empty.
So I took the AC50 off of the 29gal, put it on the 55 with Juan Carlos in it. Took the AC110 from that tank and the AC110 from Toni's tank and BAM TONI IS NOW IN HER 125!!!
There ya go Toni in her new digs. She has 6 Black Skirt Tetras, a Blue Phantom pleco, and my last Jewel cichld with her.

Toni is so funny. She is giving some serious side-eye to all the cords and what not. With no background she can see them for once.
So far she hasn't chased any of the new tankmates, to busy side-eyeing all the new stuff.
I got a tape measure out and sized her up as she swam by. From her eye-spot to the tip of her mouth it was 7and 1/4inches. I will try and get a pic of that, just a bit difficult to do phone camera in one hand, tape measure in the other, and getting her to swim by with all this weird stuff in my hands...

Good looking setup. Any plans for a background? Once the black skirts go missing I highly recommend a group of spotted silver dollars. I got a group of 5 a few weeks ago and love them. I'm looking for a few tiger striped silvers now to go with them.
Planning on a bigger version of the one her 55 had.
It's weird how different the Black Skirt Tetras are acting in the 125. In the 29 they all spread out and staked claim to an area. Dive bombing each other for more turf . Very rarely schooling around. Now that all they do is swim around as a group. But ya I was planning on getting spotted silver dollar's and adding them in when I add Juan Carlos in a couple months.
Switchng around lights and Juan Carlos got some take out....
