Toni and Nemo my albino Oscar's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That’s the best looking oscar I’ve ever seen in my life.

Thanks, that means a lot to me. I try to give her the best home that I can with the resources that I have. Biggest thing I bet is the water changes I do. ATM she gets fin lvl every other day. And a good staple food, atm she is still eating Hikari Caristicks, jumbo size.

Would Metynnis fasciatus (Tigerstriped) be a good pick, as far as silver dollar's go? From what I got from the net is they only get to 5in

That is a very nice White Tiger. From the first pic. you would of thought she wouldn't be so red. Nice.

So last night I put gravel into Toni's tank. Found a deal for 10 bucks for 20lbs, so got 140lbs for her 125.
So I rinsed the gravel real good, then it went thru a prime bath(big tub with water and prime added to declorinate the water all over the rinsed gravel) then added it to the tank and put back in my rocks and such. Put the branch back in but Toni didn't like where it was, she bit into and swam till it moved out her way, so I moved it.
Always the can't wait till ready kinda guy I got Toni some friends
First off a Pimelodus ornatus

The oscar looks great, great colour, obviously very healthy and well looked after. But I think your denison barbs could be stressed judging by the lack of colour. They might do better in a tank with smaller/same sized fish although they don't require any cover/caves. Mine live with clown loaches and the below is denison barbs "real" colour..Apologies for intruding the thread with my pictures....Its just a suggestion you may want to consider.... It is also possible they're not getting enough to eat around the oscar...
